Karur stampede : AIADMK creates ruckus, launch sit-in dharna, stages walks out

Chennai, Oct. 15 -- The principal Opposition AIADMK today created ruckus in the TamilNadu Assembly over the Karur stampede that claimed 41 lives during the political rally of TVKFounder ad actor Vijay, staged a sit in dharna in front of the Chair and later staged a noisywalk out from the House.

After the Question Hour, leaders of various parties had given notice to take the Karur tragedyissue.

When Speaker M Appavu agreed to take up the issue and said Chief Minister MK Stalin wouldmake an initial statement after which the members would be allowed the speak.
