On a day that promised cricket but delivered little more than showers, the Karnataka batsman reminded everyone why he remains a colossus in the domestic arena.

Rain intervened mercilessly, restricting play to just 54.1 overs, yet amidst the drizzle and disruption, Karun's bat spoke with authority, guiding Karnataka to 371 in their first innings. Goa, for their part, ended the day at 28 for one, watching a master at work.
