Bengaluru, Sept. 18 -- Karun Nair's misunderstanding over a media remark was one of the key turning points in Robin Uthappa's exit from the Karnataka Ranji Trophy set-up, the former India batsman has revealed, linking the episode to deeper issues of domestic politics and communication gaps inside the dressing room.
Speaking on a cricket podcast First Umpire, Uthappa said the trouble began during the 2016-17 season, after he and Nair struck match-winning centuries for Karnataka in a Ranji Trophy match.
