Bengaluru, May 6 -- Mock drills will be conducted at key locations across Karnataka on Wednesday as part of a state-wide exercise to evaluate and strengthen disaster preparedness, senior officials said on Tuesday. Dr PRS Chetan, Additional Chief Officer of Civil Defence and Commanding Officer of the Quick Response Team, said the drills would be held in three critical locations - Bengaluru, Karwar, and Raichur - spanning urban, nuclear, and thermal power infrastructure zones.
