Bengaluru, Sept. 28 -- The Karnataka government has suspended four officials for failing to participate in the ongoing Socio-Economic and Educational Survey being conducted by the Karnataka State Commission for Backward Classes.
Three of the suspended officials were from Davanagere district and one from Raichur district. Those suspended in Davanagere include teachers DK Manjunath and H Basavarajappa, along with KR Durgappa, superintendent of a post-matric hostel.
In Raichur, Ramesh G Rathod, welfare officer in the Backward Classes Department, was suspended.
