Bengaluru, Feb. 14 -- Karnataka has secured investment proposals worth Rs 10.27 lakh crore during the three-day Invest Karnataka summit, which concluded here on Friday.
The proposed investments are expected to generate over six lakh jobs, with more than 45 percent of the investments earmarked for North Karnataka.
Speaking to reporters, Karnataka Minister for Large and Medium Scale Industries MB Patil stated, "The total investments committed to Karnataka as part of the Global Investors Meet (GIM) amount to Rs 10.27 lakh crore, with an employment generation potential of over six lakh.
More than 45 percent of the investments are in North Karnataka. We aim to realise at least 70 percent of the total investments over the next two years."
