Bengaluru, Sept. 15 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced a financial assistance of Rs 25 crore to support flood relief and rehabilitation efforts in Himachal Pradesh, even as the move drew criticism from the BJP.

Yaduveer Wadiyar questioned the government's priorities, saying several North Indian states are reeling under floods, yet Karnataka is providing aid only to Himachal Pradesh, where the Congress party is in power.

He also pointed to delays in relief for victims of the Hassan tragedy and flood-hit areas in Uttara Kannada, accusing the state leadership of indifference at home.
