Bengaluru, Oct. 9 -- Karnataka Cricket Board announced a 15-member squad for the Ranji Trophy 2025, with the return of Karun Nair.
The experienced batsman rejoins his home team after a successful season with Vidarbha, where he scored 863 runs at an average of 53.93.
Mayank Agarwal will continue as captain, leading a squad aimed at improving last season's mixed performance, in which Karnataka managed only two wins out of seven matches, finishing fourth in Elite Group C.
Nair's comeback strengthens Karnataka's batting lineup, which also includes R Smaran, last season's top scorer with 516 runs. Veteran Manish Pandey is absent, signalling a transition in the team.
