Tumkur, March 22 -- Karnataka Minister of Kannada and Culture, Shivaraj Tangadagi, was admitted to a hospital here late Sunday evening after complaining of chest pain, sources said.
Medical teams are attending to him, and his condition is being closely monitored, though official details regarding his health and the cause of the discomfort are yet to be released.
Visuals from outside the hospital show aides gathered as staff work to stabilise him. Social media reports indicate that Tangadagi was rushed to the facility earlier in the day following the onset of symptoms.
