Bengaluru, Oct. 13 -- Karnataka Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao today described the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as a "political" and "fascist organisation," supporting Minister Priyank Kharge's proposal to ban RSS activities in government schools, muzrai temples, and other public spaces.

Speaking to reporters here, Rao said there was no need for a cabinet decision to enforce the ban, adding that an administrative directive would suffice. He criticised the RSS for its political involvement, noting that the organisation and its wings - BJP, Bajrang Dal, and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad - influence government formation, ministerial reshuffles, and even the appointment of the Chief Minister.
