Bengaluru, Sept. 18 -- In Shivamogga, a man nicknamed "Oil Kumar" has caused quite a stir, and people would struggle to believe it if they hadn't seen the footage themselves. While most folk sit down to a plate of rice, roti, and vegetables, Kumar claims he's been drinking nothing but bottled engine oil for thirty years - seven to eight litres a day, sometimes with his tea.
A viral video posted on Instagram by 'avalakki_pavalakki' shows him politely refusing a plate of food, opting instead for a swig from an oil bottle. Kumar insists he has never been hospitalised and credits his unusual resilience to the grace of Lord Ayyappa.
