Bengaluru/New Delhi, Dec. 15 -- After a brief lull, the simmering leadership issue in the Karnataka Congress resurfaced on Monday, with Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar holding meetings with senior party leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in the national capital on Monday.
Speaking to reporters after the meetings, Shivakumar said he was also scheduled to meet Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and party general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal. "I have already met Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi. Today, Kharge and I are supposed to go to Davanagere, but the flight has been delayed due to bad weather," he said.
