Bengaluru, May 27 -- A group of Bengaluru-based lawyers has raised objections against the Karnataka government's recent appointment of MA Saleem as in-charge Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG&IGP).
The delegation, comprising advocates S Umapathi, Sudha Katwa, and Akhil Babu, submitted a memorandum to the chief secretary, additional chief secretary (home), principal secretary (department of personnel administration and reforms), and the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Monday.
