Bengaluru, Nov. 10 -- Karnataka Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwara on Monday said he has convened a meeting of senior officers to review and investigate serious incidents reported from the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison in Bengaluru, following media reports and videos showing terrorist prisoners using mobile phones and being supplied with liquor, drugs, and other contraband items.
Dr Parameshwara said the government has taken serious note of these reports, which also suggest possible collusion of prison staff in facilitating access to such banned items.
