Bengaluru, Sept. 11 -- Karnataka Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara today clarified his presence at a public procession in Tiptur, asserting that his visit had no connection with any ABVP programme and reiterating his commitment to the Congress party.

The Minister's clarification comes amid speculation after he was seen at a Rani Abbakka Rath Yatra and torchlight procession organised by the RSS-affiliated student group ABVP, an event which has sparked controversy.
