Bengaluru, Nov. 21 -- Amid speculations of leadership changes in Karnataka, Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara on Friday categorically denied any political motives behind a recent dinner at Satish Jarkiholi's residence and the visits of several MLAs to Delhi. His remarks aim to quell speculation as the state government crosses the two-and-a-half-year mark in office.

Speaking to reporters, Dr. Parameshwara clarified that the dinner was focused solely on departmental matters, particularly the budgetary adjustments necessitated by the Almatti dam project.
