Bengaluru, July 8 -- The Karnataka High Court today stayed a government order that had directed the closure of all Jan Aushadhi Kendras (JAKs) operating on the premises of government hospitals, offering interim relief to 18 petitioners who run these Kendras. Justice MI Arun passed the interim order while hearing a batch of petitions filed by pharmacy operators, stating, "The concession granted to the petitioner to run a Jan Aushadhi Kendra (pharmacy shop) in the respondent no 4-hospital shall not be terminated till the next date of hearing."
