Bengaluru, Jan. 27 -- The Karnataka High Court on Monday reserved its order regarding the transfer of the ongoing investigation into the MUDA (Mysuru Urban Development Authority) case from the Lokayukta to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The court's decision comes after a plea was filed seeking the transfer, citing concerns over the fairness and transparency of the ongoing probe by the Lokayukta.
The court heard arguments from both parties before reserving its verdict.
In the meantime, the Lokayukta has been directed to continue its investigation into the alleged irregularities and corruption within the MUDA, as the court has not yet issued its final order on the matter.
