Bengaluru, Oct. 14 -- The Karnataka High Court today issued a notice to the union government and the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) on an appeal filed by Exalogic Solutions Private Limited, a company in which Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's daughter Veena Vijayan is a director.

The company has challenged the Centre's order asking the SFIO to investigate its financial dealings.

The case has drawn wide attention because the High Court has decided to look into whether the union government followed the correct legal procedure before ordering the SFIO probe.
