Bengaluru, Dec. 4 -- The Karnataka High Court on Thursday extended the interim stay on further proceedings in the criminal defamation case filed by the State BJP against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over the party's controversial "Corruption Rate Card" advertisement.

The matter will now be heard on December 11.

Justice S Sunil Dutt Yadav continued the interim protection originally granted on January 17, which had halted the trial before the 42nd Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court.
