Bengaluru, Jan. 13 -- The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday directed the state government to relook the implementation of the ambitious Bangalore-Mysore Expressway and Infrastructure Corridor Project, observing that the project, conceived over three decades ago to decongest Bengaluru, has "remained only on paper."A Division Bench comprising Justice DK Singh and Justice T Venkatesh Naik made the observation while dismissing a writ petition filed by Chandrika, a land-owner seeking additional compensation for land acquired for the project. The Bench noted that despite the passage of nearly 30 years since the Project Technical Report (PTR) was prepared in August 1995, the core objectives of the project had not been achieved.
