Bengaluru, July 22 -- Karnataka Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara today welcomed the Supreme Court's observations against the Enforcement Directorate (ED), alleging that the agency is being misused by the Narendra Modi-led central government to target political opponents.
"This is a clear case of how the central government is misusing institutions like the ED," Dr Parmeshwara told reporters, reacting to the top court's judgment. "The Chief Justice himself warned the ED not to become a pawn in political games. This is a vindication of what we have been saying for long."
