Bengaluru, Sept. 25 -- The Karnataka government today announced that it will build a memorial in Mysuru to honour SL Bhyrappa, the celebrated Kannada poet, novelist, and philosopher who passed away yesterday at the age of 94.
The decision came as political leaders, writers, and admirers across the country paid rich tributes to the towering literary figure.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said the memorial would stand as a lasting tribute to Bhyrappa's immense contribution to literature.
