Bengaluru, Jan. 3 -- : A Karnataka government study indicating that the majority of voters across the state have expressed trust and confidence in the electoral process and consider Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) reliable has been removed from the government website, after becoming controversial.

The August 2025 report, which was made public only a few days ago, is no longer accessible on the Karnataka Monitoring and Evaluation Authority (KMEA) website.

The study, conducted by KMEA under the Department of Planning, Programme Monitoring and Statistics, revealed significant voter confidence in EVMs and the overall electoral process, directly contradicting Congress party's 'Vote Chori' campaign.
