Bengaluru, May 5 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday reaffirmed his government's commitment to implementing internal reservation for Scheduled Castes (SCs) and launched a comprehensive caste survey aimed at gathering empirical data on sub-caste demographics across the state.

Addressing a press conference at Vidhana Soudha, Siddaramaiah said the survey would be conducted in three phases from May 5 to May 23 and would help ensure equitable distribution of reservation benefits among SC communities.
