Bengaluru, Oct. 18 -- Karnataka Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy today issued a clarification after Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's social media post celebrating two "world records" under the state's Shakti scheme drew scrutiny online and was subsequently deleted.
The post, shared on the Chief Minister's official X handle yesterday, claimed that the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) had been recognised by the "London Book of World Records" for service excellence, citing 464 national and international honours since 1997, and noting that Karnataka had achieved the highest number of free women's bus journeys under the Shakti scheme.
