Bengaluru, Aug. 18 -- Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has decided to order for a CBI probe into the alleged phone tapping scandal of various opposition leaders and the senior officials, carried out by the previous JD(S)-Congress coalition government led by H D Kumaraswamy.

Speaking to newsmen here on Sunday, CM Yediyurappa termed that the phone tapping was a serious issue, and several leaders including Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah, and others had urged to conduct a comprehensive probe into the illegal act of overhearing the conversations of the political adversaries.
