Bengaluru, Aug. 11 -- Karnataka is preparing to leap from a design-led semiconductor ecosystem to full-scale manufacturing, even as the state monitors potential impacts from US President Donald Trump's renewed trade rhetoric and recent tariff moves on India, IT/BT Minister Priyank Kharge said here today.
Addressing journalists during the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025, Kharge said the Mysuru facility had already secured a leading PCB manufacturer as an anchor unit, signalling the start of a robust manufacturing chain.
