Bengaluru, March 5 -- In a major development, Ranya Rao, actress and step-daughter of Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP) K Ramachandra Rao, was arrested at Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport for allegedly smuggling 14 kg of gold bars. The arrest has sent shockwaves through bureaucratic and law enforcement circles.
