Bengaluru, Dec. 21 -- Amid renewed speculation over leadership changes in Karnataka, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today clarified that he will travel to New Delhi only when called by the Congress high command, alongside Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
"I won't travel to Delhi secretively. I will travel with the CM when the High Command calls us. We will inform you (media) if we are travelling," Shivakumar told reporters in Bengaluru, stressing transparency and adherence to party protocols.
The clarification comes in the wake of rumours about a potential power-sharing arrangement or a possible elevation of Shivakumar to the Chief Minister's post, which had fuelled media speculation in recent days.
