Bengaluru, Oct. 6 -- Karnataka Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara today said that the state's population enumeration is nearing completion, stressing the importance of public cooperation to ensure full coverage.

Despite some obstructions and boycotts in certain areas, he said, the census must be completed for accurate data collection and planning.

Dr Parameshwara noted that enumeration has been successfully carried out for around 80 per cent of the population, with some districts achieving over 80 per cent completion and others around 70 per cent.
