Bengaluru, Sept. 9 -- The Dharmasthala controversy in Karnataka today took centre stage in the national capital, with both BJP leaders and religious seers separately meeting union Home Minister Amit Shah, seeking urgent intervention by the Centre.

A delegation of senior BJP leaders, led by state president BY Vijayendra, Opposition leader R Ashoka, union minister Pralhad Joshi, LoP in the Council Cheluvadi Narayanswamy, MPs Brijesh Chowta and Srinivas Poojari, MLAs SR Vishwanath, Harish Poonja and others, apprised the Home Minister of what they called "anti-Hindu developments" under the Congress government in Karnataka.
