Bengaluru, Nov. 14 -- Senior BJP leaders across Karnataka on Friday reacted to the Bihar Assembly election trends/results, asserting that the mandate reflected public trust in the NDA and a rejection of allegations of vote theft raised by the Congress and its allies.
In Bengaluru, BJP leader and former minister CN Ashwath Narayan said the Congress had repeatedly raised "baseless" allegations of vote theft and EVM tampering, but the people of Bihar had clearly rejected such claims. He said the electoral process was "transparent, open and accountable", adding that voters also had the option of verifying their choice through a printed ballot slip.
