Bengaluru, June 27 -- In a scathing attack on the ruling Congress government, Karnataka BJP today alleged that the state was actively trying to dispossess Dalits of legally allotted land in Mahadevapura, Bengaluru, to pave the way for commercial exploitation.

"Dalits are being denied the opportunity to become landowners or millionaires. The government cannot tolerate their success," said Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy.
