Bengaluru, April 19 -- A special court in Bengaluru has framed charges against 10 individuals from Karnataka's Shivamogga region in connection with the murder of a Hindu activist Harsha Nagaraj alias Harsha Hindu.

The charges, including terrorism, murder, and conspiracy, were framed under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, and sections 302 and 120 B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Harsha was brutally murdered on the night of February 20, 2022, in the Doddapete area of Shivamogga city. He was attacked by a gang armed with swords while out for dinner with friends. The incident led to a brief spell of violence during Harsha's funeral procession the following morning.
