Kalaburagi (Karnataka), Sept. 19 -- Congress leader in Karntaka and Aland MLA BR Patil today warned of deliberate obstruction in the investigation into the 2023 "vote chori" controversy, raising concerns about institutional accountability and the integrity of parliamentary democracy.
Patil revealed that the Crime Investigation Department (CID) had written 18 letters regarding the alleged electoral irregularities, but none have been answered. He alleged that this inaction is part of a calculated effort to manipulate the investigation and shield those responsible, calling it a "conspiracy" to protect perpetrators from scrutiny.
