Bengaluru, Nov. 28 -- Bharatiya Janata Party leader V Somanna on Thursday dismissed any possibility of roping in Congress leader DK Shivakumar in BJP, asserting that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the party has grown strong across the country.

"Under Prime Minister Modi, the BJP has become powerful nationwide. So why should we need DK Shivakumar? Why focus on someone who has moved on?" Somanna told reporters, taking a dig at the Congress leadership amid internal power struggles.
