Lucknow, Sept. 16 -- Karikot in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh won the ICRT Responsible Tourism Award 2025 for Peace, Understanding, and Inclusivity, showcasing Uttar Pradesh's leadership in community-centred rural tourism.
The awards ceremony took place at Yashobhoomi, India International Convention and Expo Centre, Dwarka.
Presented by Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, the award was received on behalf of Karikot by Bahraich CDO Mukesh Chandra, Village Stary Sushil Kumar Singh and Gram Pradhan Parvati.
