Mumbai, July 8 -- A karate teacher, arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 12--year-old girl at a gymnasium school in Central Mumbai, was today produced in the city court which remanded him to police custody for four days, officials said here.
According to police, accused karate teacher (22) had been exploiting the minor since January this year by threatening to sexually assault her mother if she disclosed the abuse to anyone.
The accused molested the girl and sexually exploited her on multiple occasions, when there were no other students around, officials further said that later she narrated the entire incident to her mother who works in a private company.
Following this, a case was registered and the accused was arrested.
