Lucknow, July 20 -- A total of 61,47,826 Buddhist tourists visited Uttar Pradesh in 2024, of whom 79,418 explored Kapilvastu, a senior minister said today.
In view of the increasing tourist footfall, the UP government has sanctioned projects worth Rs. 6 crore for the development of tourism facilities in Kapilvastu, located in Siddharthnagar.
