New Delhi, Sept. 12 -- Popular comedian and television host Kapil Sharma has come under fire from the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) for referring to Mumbai as "Bombay" during a recent episode of his comedy show which is being aired on Netflix.
He has been warned to stop using the city's former name, stating it's an insult to the city and its people.
The MNS, known for its strong regional stance, issued a stern warning to Sharma, demanding an apology and cautioning him against repeating the "mistake."In the post shared on X, MNS spokesperson Ameya Khopkar expressed his displeasure along with a clip from Kapil's show on Netflix.
