Dharamshala, Dec. 26 -- Renowned Sufi singer Kanwar Grewal enthralled the audience with his soulful rendition of Kullu and Lahaul Naati during the third evening of the Kangra Valley Carnival 2025.

The 'Sufi and Glamour Evening', themed on women empowerment, drew loud applause as folk rhythms and vibrant performances filled the venue.

Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister Chandra Kumar, the chief guest, said the carnival plays a vital role in preserving Himachal's rich folk culture while promoting tourism and providing platforms for local artists, youth and women. He announced that the state government has granted formal festival status to the Kangra Valley Carnival, which will now be held annually from December 24 to 31.
