Lucknow, July 7 -- Sharpening his Hindutav agenda to counter BJP, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Monday announced that if his party's government is formed after 2027 assembly polls , then a separate ' Kanwar' corridor will be constructed in Uttar Pradesh.
"We will construct a separate corridor for Kanwariyas so that there no inconvenience to the shopkeepers nor those walking on the road," he said.
Addressing media, Akhilesh said the BJP government sought votes in the name of faith, but did nothing for Kanwariyas in the last nine years.
