Bengaluru, Oct. 15 -- Rishab Shetty's Kantara: Chapter 1 has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the highest-grossing film of all time in Karnataka, rewriting box office records in less than two weeks.
The film earned approximately Rs. 4.75 crore on its second Tuesday, taking its total state collection past Rs. 174 crore, surpassing Shetty's own Kantara: A Legend (2022) to claim the top spot.
In just 13 days, Kantara: Chapter 1 broke longstanding records previously unmatched by even the biggest blockbusters. Trade analysts predict the film could cross the Rs. 200 crore mark in Karnataka, with the potential to reach Rs 250 crore during the upcoming Diwali holidays.
