Kanpur, Dec. 1 -- The Bilhaur police have arrested Nisar Ahmad of Kannauj for allegedly securing a job in the Indian Army using forged documents issued in the name of his relative, Sahil.

The arrest comes seven years after a permanent warrant had been issued against him, police said on Monday.

According to Bilhaur Inspector Ashok Kumar Saroj, Nisar Ahmad, a resident of Tirwa in Kannauj district, is related to Sahil from Sheshpur Dharamshala village under the Araul area. In 2013, Nisar reportedly published a false notice claiming that Sahil's high school and intermediate mark sheets had been lost.
