Bengaluru, June 1 -- Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Nadoja Mahesh Joshi on Sunday expressed surprise over the state government's sudden decision to withdraw facilities extended to him and questioned the rationale behind the move.
Speaking to reporters, Joshi said the government order, issued just a day ago, had shocked many and created curiosity among the literary community and general public alike. "The government must explain on what grounds the facilities extended to me were taken back. Why grant something and then abruptly revoke it?" he asked.
