Dharamshala, Dec. 17 -- : The Kangra District Health Department today held a meeting of the District Task Force for Immunization to ensure the successful conduct of the Pulse Polio Immunization Campaign scheduled for December 21.
Chairing the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kangra Vinay Kumar directed all departments to work in close coordination to ensure that no child is deprived of the polio vaccine. He stressed that despite polio being under control, sustained efforts are essential to maintain this protection. He also emphasized IEC activities, inter-departmental coordination and community participation to enhance public awareness.
