Patna, Aug. 1 -- In a landmark recognition of Bihar's rich and often underrepresented handloom heritage, 'Bawan Booti' weaving tradition, master weaver Kamlesh Kumar from Nepura village in Silao of Nalanda district will be awarded with the prestigious National Handloom Award for the year 2025.
Kamlesh has been selected for the prestigious Award conferred by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, Union government.
