Mumbai, Nov. 25 -- Maharashtra police, probing the death of 19-year-old college student Arnav Khaire, who hanged himself at his residence in neighbouring Kalyan city after a group of people allegedly assaulted him on a local train following an argument over not speaking in Marathi, questioned 10 commuters who were in the same coach of the train, however, no leads have been currently found in the case, sources in the probe team indicated today.
Police said that CCTV footage was also examined to trace multiple passengers who boarded the local train from Ambernath to Thane and while questioning the commuters many claimed that they did not come across any conflict or assault, 'citing peak-hour crowding'.
