Hyderabad, March 13 -- Birthday celebrations of Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha were held with much enthusiasm in Hyderabad on Friday, with leaders, activists and admirers gathering in large numbers to convey their wishes.
The celebrations began shortly after midnight on Thursday with Jagruthi leaders cutting a cake. On Friday morning, Vedic scholars and Banjara priests offered blessings to Kavitha at her residence.
Later, at the Telangana Jagruthi office, Kavitha cut another cake with supporters, who also presented her with a massive garland. Leaders, activists and well-wishers met her personally to extend their greetings, while similar celebrations were organised by Jagruthi leaders across the state.
